June 21-25, 2010 GUITAR & DRUM CAMP
Current Grades 5-12
This camp is for beginners and early intermediate level students. Daily schedule (9:00 am - 12:00 pm):
9:00 am Introduction to the language of music
9:30 am Technical studies on selected instrument
10:20 am Refreshment break
10:40 am Reportoire studies on selected instrument
11:30 am Playing in an ensemble
12:00 pm Dismissal
On Friday, June 25 at 12:00 pm students will present a demonstration performance for family and friends.
Tuition: $75 10% Early Bird Registration $67.50 due by Monday, June 7th.
July 12-16, 2010 PRESCHOOL CAMPS
10:00-11:00 am Ages 2 & 3 Years
2:00-4:00 pm Ages 4 & 5 Years
These camps will focus on exploring the basic musical concepts of high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft and long/short. Children will sing, move to music, play rhythm instruments and xylophones, meet the instruments of the orchestra and make an instrument for their use. The children will be introduced to quarter, half and whole notes and the basis of their rhythmic values.
On Friday,July 16, students will present a demonstration performance for family and friends at the dismissal time.
2 & 3 year camp: Tuition $30 10% Early Bird Registration $27 due by Monday, June 28th.
4 & 5 year camp: Tuition $50 10% Early Bird Registration $45 due by Monday, June 28th.
July 19-23, 2010 EXPLORING INSTRUMENTS CAMP
Current Grades K-4
Students attending this camp will explore different instruments including piano, guitar, drums, violin and other instruments of the orchestra. Daily schedule (9:00 am - 12:00 pm):
9:00 am Introduction to the language of music
9:40 am Learning about the instruments (how they are made and how they work)
10:20 am Refreshment break
10:40 am Introduction to playing the different instruments
11:30 am Music games
12:00 pm Dismissal
On Friday, July 23 at 12:00pm, students will present a demonstration performace for family and friends.

August 9-13, 2010 Children/Youth Choir Camp
Current Grades 3-10
This camp is specifically for the ProMusic Choristers Touring Choir and the ProMusic Training Choir who will be preparing to make a recording of Christmas music. In addition, the Choristers Touring Choir will be preparing for a tour to England in July 2011.
